About SaasWorks
SaaSWorks is a team of multi-time Founders, Operators, and Investors coming from firms such as HubSpot and Goldman Sachs. Our team has the ambition to build a large business along with the pragmatism to do it in a predictable and profitable manner.
We are an open-minded, creative, agile, and a purpose-driven fast-paced team with the opportunity to double the size of our team and grow our revenue every year. We believe early-stage companies are best built in person so creativity isn’t constrained to Zoom sessions - however, we remain remote-friendly for key teammates and partners - especially as the work environment evolves post-COVID. Our primary office is in Burlington, MA and we have satellite offices south of Boston and midtown
Manhattan. SaasWorks is on a mission to democratize the data-driven insights and expertise required to build and manage high-growth, high-value subscription businesses. We do this through a combination of attracting the industry’s best minds and matching them with deep technology to deliver outcomes for our customers. We have a customer-centric culture with a do-it-for-you delivery model.
We are well-funded with long-term capital from visionary investors and operators who believe in the value created by combining data, technology, and human expertise vs a pure services or product type business model.
About the Role
SaaSWorks is looking for a highly motivated and seasoned administrative professional to serve as the on-site Office Manager for our Burlington, MA workspace as well as be the key executive assistant to our two Founders. We are looking for a self-motivated person who can operate with a high level of discretion and judgment while running daily operations including office management, administrative tasks, and team-based project support for our fast-paced, growing technology company.
- Support the SaasWorks Founders with booking meetings, logistics (including travel), and basic administrative tasks to ensure an exceptional customer and team experience.
- Perform basic Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable tasks. As we are a highly technical team, much of this work is automated and done via cloud software tools.
- Manage each of our 3 physical offices for basic supplies such as coffee, snacks, and equipment. 2 of our 3 offices are co-working spaces so your management of those 2 spaces will be low effort.
- Partner with the Founders to invest in and create a vibrant company culture that spans our 3 office locations as well as to employees working remotely.
- You’ll arrange logistics for monthly team meet-ups and fun events (bowling, dinner, family nights, day trips, bring your ideas!)
- You’ll coordinate company swag orders for teams and clients
- Help make our offices welcoming. We need your insight and coordination to make our space feel like ours. Team photos, a fun couch in a great color, puzzles, and games for mental break times, we want your help with our vision!
- We love our clients! You’ll handle meet-ups for some of our largest customers. Finding Red Sox tickets to thank a client? You’re on it!
- Assist in recruiting new team members. We’ll rely on your coordination for scheduling and logistics for both in-person and remote conversations.
A Peek into Your Week
We know that Office Manager roles can look different at different organizations. We want to show you what a day in your SaasWorks life could look like. If you’re feeling energized by the responsibilities below, we definitely want to hear from you!
Your mornings could look like:
- You’re starting your day by checking Slack/email before you head to the office to ensure nothing came in overnight that needs your immediate attention.
- Arrive at the Burlington, MA office and check-in with the Founders. Did anything come up overnight that required a change to meetings, travel, bookings, etc.? Finalize itinerary to match travel preferences.
- Ensure the office feels in order. You’ve got high expectations.
- Review Slack/email for any team or group messages that could benefit from your coordination, collaboration, and creative ideas to help build and curate a strong culture.
- Kick off the meeting you booked with the Founders and management team about upcoming in-person team meetings. The goal is to create a memorable, productive, and collaborative team experience.
- Review invoices and make sure all company bills are paid (e.g., rent, vendors, supplies). Route consultant/contractor invoices to the right person for approval. Submit payments via AP software.
- Lunch! Slack the Burlington office folks to coordinate a team lunch and order for pickup/delivery. See if we need to replenish any snacks or supplies. You recognize the impact a fully stocked office has on comfort and productivity.
Your afternoons could look like:
- Partner with the CEO and Head of Customer Outcomes to discuss opportunities for customer testimonials, recognition, and case studies. Coordinate a plan for execution.
- Meet with CTO to brainstorm on blog article ideas and partner on building content
- Review RSVP list, travel, and event coordination for an upcoming customer user group that you led the creation and implementation of.
- Publish and check on job postings on LinkedIn, Angel.co, and other networks for a new Data Analyst position. Review the current candidates in the process, potentially communicate with them, and ensure an excellent recruiting experience.
- On the fly meeting with the CEO to discuss some upcoming client and prospect meetings. Coordinate travel and strategize on how to optimize any trips, including ensuring relationship meetings are considered based on the location.
- Review the results from a poll you shared on company swag and place an order. You agree that customers and teams should receive the recognition they deserve!
- Check with the team to make sure goals were hit and no big blockers during the day before heading out.
About You
- Ability to balance multiple projects with differing priorities and the ability to prioritize accordingly.
- Strong organizational and communication skills - both verbally and electronically - with the ability to choose the right type of communication medium based on the situation.
- Detailed-oriented and quality-focused with an ability to perform basic financial and expense management tasks.
- Passion to foster a team and company culture that spans multiple work experience levels - from new grads to multi-time founders.
- Digital native with experience in Google Mail, Google Calendar, and Zoom. Experience or willingness to quickly learn other small business tools like Time-Entry, HR systems, etc.
What it’s like to be a SaaSWorker:
We are a lean, hands-on, get-work-done team where each contributor directly impacts product development and our customer experience. We have built, and scaled companies and firmly believe that the next decade of companies will be built differently. To account for this, we think differently.
Moreover, we believe in fostering each teammates’ growth by giving the runway and the frameworks to set them up for success. We have built a team and network of amazing partners, customers, investors, and subscription industry experts. If you are looking to join our joyous journey of building a durable company, we’d like to share more of our story and dig into this opportunity.
SaaSWorks is an equal opportunity employer. We are a team and community of different backgrounds, passions, and skills. We offer competitive startup pay and equity, and the wingspan to expand your career by working with actual founders and operators. We value capability and curiosity over pedigree and are interested in a variety of backgrounds and abilities. We also provide competitive benefits that are family and individual-friendly.
SaaSWorks is driving revenue performance for every Subscription and SaaS business. We are on a mission to democratize the data-driven insights and expertise required to build and manage these high-growth, high-value businesses. To date, these capabilities have been exclusive to the unicorns and deca-corns of the subscription and SaaS industry.
We are excited about this mission, as the number of worldwide subscription and SaaS businesses is rapidly growing. It’s expensive and challenging to build and scale these businesses due to the complexity of pricing models, the multiple products/SKUs, varying contract terms, as well as managing the myriad tools needed to run these companies. Most high-growth SaaS companies have developed in-house tools and hired large engineering & ops teams (BizOps, RevOps, SalesOps, etc.) to overcome these challenges. However, most businesses don’t have access to the requisite level of expertise or technology.
We know this - because we’ve done this. Our team of outside-the-box thinkers, founders, operators, investors, and data nerds has helped launch and scale high-growth businesses like HubSpot (NYSE: HUBS) and invested in businesses like this at legendary investment platforms like Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS).
At SaaSWorks, we are leveraging our team’s passion, knowledge, and experience of product & operations skills to provide actionable information and insights to empower every subscription and SaaS business – not just the unicorns – to scale in a customer-centric and durable way. Our customers are getting real results - check out our case studies for more details.
We are well-funded by long-term, visionary investors and operators who believe in the value created by combining data, technology, and human expertise. We are growing our team to shape the future of scaling subscription and SaaS businesses.
Capabilities and Characteristics we are looking for:
- You are a passionate Account Manager (or similar customer-facing role such as Customer Success) with 3 to 4 years of experiencing managing accounts to drive growth and retention opportunities
- You have a strong understanding of SaaS and recurring revenue financial models
- Your passion for "Solving for the Customer" runs deep
- You have experience using and analyzing customer data to make strategic decisions on how to engage with the right customer at the right time
- You are data curious and are willing to roll up your sleeves to help identify areas of opportunity within the data (this includes quality assurance measures)
- You are someone that values hard work and knows what it takes to work in an early-stage startup
Your responsibilities will consist of:
- Work closely with the Principal Outcomes Manager to ensure SaaSWorks is both tracking and delivering the desired outcomes for our clients
- Manage components of the “Nudge” pipeline such as but not limited to the following:
- Validating data accuracy
- Additional Nudge research such as evaluating past engagements and external online enrichment
- Sending nudges to the customer
- Write and edit playbook templates to be used within the Nudges. The types of playbooks include but are not limited to collections, renewals, and expansion opportunities
- Provide visibility to the Outcomes team on where clients stand with regard to nudge deliverables and raise any red flags or green flags to help identify both risks and opportunities to advance client relationships
- Work in conjunction with the Principal Outcomes Manager to produce monthly and quarterly deliverables to show progress towards the client’s desired outcomes

SaaSWorks is looking for a DevOps Engineer with high growth potential to further structure and scale our AWS infrastructure. We are not a one-size-fits-all SaaS application, but a highly configurable, tailored Subscription Revenue Management Platform which requires a broad set of data pipelines, analytics, and infrastructure - that all must be codified and 100% repeatable within AWS.
As a data company, we process a myriad of different customer and 3rd party data, therefore we create delightful, one-size-fits-one experiences for our customers without sacrificing security or scalability. We are open to less experienced and aspiring DevOps engineers; simply expect a fast pace as we are growing our business rapidly.
Skills we are looking for:
- Infrastructure as code, including CloudFormation template experience to create and maintain existing libraries
- Solid Linux administration and automation experience with logging, debugging, troubleshooting. We use bash and CloudFormation for orchestration and provisioning
- Experience with AWS services such as Aurora Postgres, Athena/Glue, CloudWatch
- VPC experience with a core understanding of Security Groups (creation, maintenance) and general network & internet security. IAM and LDAP a plus
- Experience with CI/CD environments such as Jenkins (or Travis) to orchestrate jobs
- Core AWS experience with EC2 including AMI image building, instance patching
- Exposure to popular data orchestration frameworks such as Airflow is a plus

We have built a team and network of amazing partners, customers, investors, and SaaS industry experts. If you are looking to join Day 1 of building a durable company, we’d like to share more of our story and dig into this opportunity.
SaaSWorks is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment for everyone in our ecosystem -- our team, our customers, and our applicants. We offer competitive startup pay and equity, and the wingspan to expand your career by working with actual founders and operators. We value capability and curiosity over pedigree and are interested in a variety of backgrounds and abilities. We also provide competitive benefits that are family and individual-friendly (and look forward to adding pet-friendly benefits one day, too).
What it’s like to be a SaaSWorker:

We believe in an in-person work-experience and are looking forward to working with people once it’s possible to do so (the position will be in person in the Boston suburbs vs. remote).
- Eagerness to work in a fast-paced, information-rich, and ambitious small-team environment
- Strong drive to create value and solve problems for customers through software development
- Ship early and often, while building lasting software architecture
- Experience building web-apps on any of the major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, etc.)
- Passion for Node.js app development (Express and React preferred)
- SQL skills to power a data-powered web-app; analytics/dashboard SQL experience is a plus
- Excited to learn from and teach others while delivering high-quality code in a timely manner
